Every hour someone is diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The cause of MS is still unknown – scientists believe the disease is triggered by as-yet-unidentified environmental factor in a person who is genetically predisposed to respond.
On Saturday, April 30, 2016, two of our AFS ladies participated in the Walk MS in Huntsville for the National Multiple Sclerosis – Alabama Mississippi Chapter.
Via local news station WAFF 48 NEWS, walkers raised $100,000 to help people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and approximately 700 walkers participated in the annual fundraiser.
AFS remains committed to community and family events that support quality of life throughout our service areas. “Our teams live, work and play in the same communities that our customers do,” notes AFS President & Owner, Ben Bayless, Jr.
We are proud to have #TeamAFS members who participate in such good causes.
Way to go ladies!
