Recently, our local community in Nashville was affected by devastating tornados. Many of our friends, family, and customers lost homes. Our AFS building suffered damage and losses.
Nashville Tornado Destroys AFS Local Office
During this time, customers asked if we are still fully operating. Yes, we are. Despite the Nashville tornados and the current COVID-19 situation, AFS remains responsive and ready to serve our customers safely and efficiently.
AFS is a family business, and we hold family values. Since the Nashville tornados, we have been working tirelessly to support our Nashville office and staff. Additionally, we are there for our customers and will continue to be available. In our eyes, nothing is more important than the wellbeing and safety of our AFS family, and our dedication to serving our customers.
AFS is not a one-building business. We are a family. We have five offices spanning the southeast region, with a sixth on the way in Knoxville, TN. When Ben and Rachel Bayless started this company, they started with a couple of flyers in a garage in Decatur, AL. Now we are the largest family-owned business in the United States within our industry. Additionally, we are the largest foundation & waterproofing company in the southeast. Each of our offices is an extension of AFS and is always ready to help the other.
Rebuilding & Remaining Open After the Nashville Tornados
In the last few weeks, our AFS Nashville location has stayed open and ready to serve. Despite the damage, we remained vigilant. We purchased a new building and relocated, all while maintaining our level of customer care.
Much like the rest of Nashville and the surrounding area, we remain loyal, dedicated, and ready to serve you. We rebuilt after the Nashville tornados hit, and we didn’t skip a beat. We are blessed and grateful for our new Nashville area building, spawning 41k square feet over 10 acres. You can find our new Nashville area location here:

AFS Values Our Customers and Employees
These are trying times. We stand committed. Our employees and customers are our priority. Nothing is more important.
Our Nashville area offices remain fully functioning and ready to serve you. Over the last two weeks, we relocated and remained active. We are eternally grateful JP Powell for helping us find this building as fast as we did.
As always, we want to thank our customers for standing with us during these trials. We thank you for your business and for allowing us to serve in this great Nashville community. We haven’t missed a single day of work since this tragedy struck our AFS family in the Nashville area. AFS is thankful for Ben and Rachel Bayless and their continued dedication to customers and employees. We believe that treating your employees the right way leads to treating your customers the right way. AFS remains steadfast and ready to serve you.
