SettleStop Concrete Raising
The sunken and cracked concrete around your Elkmont home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
Our experts use SettleStop Concrete Raising, a superior polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled in the concrete, the foam is injected and the expanding foam lifts the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, require larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as SettleStop. Call us today to learn more.

Leggtown Road in Elkmont
My 3 floor joist beams are supported by 3 concrete block pillars each. My foor has 3 humps in it at these locations. One hump has been there for 10 years and the other 2 for about a year. I’m guessing that the foundation is settling or they have warped from not having a vapor barrier and I need to adjust the joist beam heights. I put down 6 mil vapor barrier plastic a month ago. My house was built in the 1940’s and was moved here in 1985. I have lived in it ever since. The old part of the house is 900 sq.ft with 2 bedrooms 1 bath. I have added a master and bath on 1 end 420 sq.ft. in 1992 and a 200 sq.ft dining room on the back in 2000. I’m handy with repairs and such but this is job for a Pro. Look forward to your advise.

New Garden Road in Elkmont
Just bought a home with a crawlspace. The floor is rolling (very high) in two spots in particular where the previous owner appears to have added cinderblock piers. Also, while he put in new plastic, it is very damp (puddles in spots). We are in a low area. Thank you!

We recently just bought a home. The original part of the home, which contains the living room and master bedroom, was built in the very early 1900s. The rest of the home was added on in 1972 and for the most part is pretty level. My main concern is that in the living room, the floor has a very noticeable vertical wave with high spot and the low spot goes from the living room on into the master bedroom. The drywall has cracked in the master bedroom and in the living room, the wall separating the living room from the kitchen has a substantial curve in it. I am not sure if leveling it would hurt or help my situation, I don’t want to cause any further damage than has already happened. Not to mention the crawl space itself is not entirely even.

We’ve been noticing some settling issues such as cracks in the crown molding throughout the house on the same line, hearing a lot of noise that we think is due to settling, and some other factors. My father had you all work on his house, so I though I’d check with you all for an inspection.
