Reid Cox of AFS Foundations Knoxville, TN was extremely helpful and responsive by email, txt and phone. The wall under the front porch of our farm house built in 1955 was caving in from the pressure. AFS came up with an affordable solution that will prevent a full collapse. I really enjoyed working with this company and would highly recommend them.

From the time that Jake met us at our house for the initial review, till Jesse and his crew showed up to do the work a week later, we’ve been very impressed. Jake had a proposal in our hands before he left our initial meeting which was very much appreciated. Jesse and his team hit the ground running and had the project done the following afternoon. He talked me through the process every step of the way and when they were finished, you could barely see where they’d been. We were very impressed.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. Nick at the Tennessee location was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive throughout the entire process. He communicated clearly, showed up on time, and made sure everything was done right the first time. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about delivering quality results. AFS performed superbly on our job, encapsulating and drying our crawl space in a 85 year old Norris, TN house. A major difficulty was immediately discovered — the original cast iron sewage drain was slowly leaking at several seams. This required a significant repair before encapsulation — restoration cleanup and a new modern PVC drain installation by complimentary contractors. AFS effectively advised us, and they rescheduled their work. The AFS team, Tanner, ( crew leader) and Jake and John, did the encapsulation. They worked hard, communicated effectively and the result was impressive. I’m very delighted we used AFS and strongly recommend them.

They aren’t even finished with our project yet, they’re about to end day 1/2 and I am impatient and just had to say this. My husband and I are newlyweds. We are young, inexperienced with contractors, and we were nervous because all we hear about are horror stories of people who come to work on something at your home. These guys are beyond incredible. The entire company is obviously so competent, professional and passionate. Everyone from Ben Sizemore who gave us 4 HOURS OF HIS TIME to sit down with us and go through every detail of this project, down to the foreman Trent Baker who headed up his team of 3 guys as they’ve spent the entire day working. I’m blown away by everyone’s kindness, cleanliness, professionalism, etc. and these are young men!! They all deserve raises, compliments, and when (not if because you must) you hire them, go to the store and buy them snacks and drinks. They deserve it. I wish this company did regular home renovations because it feels like it can only go down from here haha! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our very first home improvement a wonderful experience. I’m so beyond grateful. I’ll update my review after they’re all finished. I know it’ll be even better tomorrow. 🤍

AFS is a straight-up company. From the initial inspection by Fred, to the work being completed by Dillon and his crew, I could not have expected a smoother process. The skills and professionalism of each was way beyond what was expected. Dillon explained each process in detail and answered any questions or concerns I had. The finished product resulted in a house that no longer have doors that stick when opening and closing or floors that creak when walking on them, and is once again level. The clean-up when finished was a plus. They seeded and put straw down in the yard wherever their machine had been or they had been working. I would highly recommend AFS for any foundation repair work someone may need. You will not be disappointed. Thank you AFS for a job well done Allen & Sheron McGill Alcoa, TN

First off, Jason J. Stoughton is phenomenal!! A good company has to have a good team. We’ve been ripped off in the past from contractors, and it was hard to trust someone else to come in and do any type of repairs. Jason was very thorough in his assessment and took his time explaining what the issues were. I can actually say I was beyond impressed with the outcome! The whole crew (Evan, Roberto, Handyman Legend and the entire crew) were amazing and very supportive. They got straight to work. They explained what they were going to do and answered any questions that we had. I felt like part of the AFS family more than a customer. Thank you Jason and the crew for taking good care of us. The house has been in our family for generations and it means a lot to our family. I would highly recommend AFS and will be using them in the future.
