EDIT for 2026: The five star review still holds from the previous review below, years later after the original work. On an annual service and inspection, Josh Whitt just did our service. This gentleman is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He even took the time to explain everything and took some excellent readings and pictures of the work. 100% customer confidence. This is the level of work we expect from someone who does the work on one of our most important things, our home. Josh communicated great from start to finish. Well done from start to finish. We appreciate your service. Initial work review (4 years ago): The AFS team is excellent. We have a pretty large amount of work that needs to be done at our house, to include sump, dehumidifier installation, ,general contractor wood work, and encapsulation. Dustin Loeb did a great job estimating the work, and did not hesitate to come out and take another look at something or answer any questions we had. I cannot say enough about how fantastic the communication is with AFS. From when the work was to begin, to when the crews are going to be there, to any updates or any changes that would be necessary are very clearly communicated in person or by a phone call. Special mention to the AFS crew that has been working at our place this week: Richard Warner and Nick Lee. I was greeted every morning by Richard who told me the plan for the day, and at the end of the day showed me pictures of what they were working on under the house and how things were looking. The crew takes great pride in their work, and pays attention to detail, communicating everything they do. And that's something I appreciate. We still have some general contractor work to do, and then encapsulation after that. I'm looking forward to AFS finishing up and keeping up the excellent work!

Our AFS inspector, Mikah Richardson and his ground crew (Uber, Marco and Fernando) all did an amazing job. We felt like Mikah did a thorough job inspecting the home, addressing all of my questions and concerns, and walking us through the process. To top off our experience with them, the foreman and ground crew (consisting of Uber, Marco and Fernando) did an outstanding job in preserving as much existing concrete and plants in the area. The whole crew was very polite and allowed me to observe and ask questions throughout their work day. They were very respectful of our home and to our neighbors. I highly recommend this AFS team combo.

Andrew performed very professionally, establishing accurate dimensions to compare against a previous Inspection by Talon, and the excellent Foam Injection lifting and leveling work performed in 2023 by Josh and Jeremy. Had to have a side porch stabilized. Paris,Bug,Boyd,Edgar,Josh,Benny were the crew that performed the work. The whole crew was very professional and courteous. Their work was very thorough and excellent. The contracted job was completed in the timeframe quoted and a.complete cleanup of the work area was done,my wife and I are very pleased with the work performed. This was the third time we have contracted jobs with AFS and will definitely call them if we need the type work they perform.

We had Ian come out to inspect the crawl space of the house we just bought. We knew it was a mess, and he was able to give a full explanation of problem areas to be aware of such as mold and mud lines from trapped water. What I loved about him was how he was willing to work with our tight budget and come up with a solution that would work for us. I had such confidence about the purchase and how it would protect our home and health.In October, Justin, Nate, and Riley did the work of cleaning out our mess of a crawlspace, and explained the process to us so we knew what to expect. They were so cheerful! I lost my husband down there for 30 minutes as he inspected the work, and he came out saying how nice it was now. The moldy smell is gone, and we're breathing better. We have gotten compliments on having it done since they finished their work.

He went over the procedures of what we can do to fix the cracks and lift the house a little bit got about a year to think about it so other than that, he did a good job and appreciate him coming by and giving us the info. Nick Rutland at AFS did an outstanding job throughout the presentation and inspection process. He was extremely informative, professional, and took the time to explain everything in great detail. I really appreciated how thoroughly he walked me through the entire scope of work that would be completed at my house and made sure I understood not only what was being done, but why it was necessary. Nick answered all of my questions clearly and never made me feel rushed. His knowledge and attention to detail gave me confidence in both his recommendations and the work AFS plans to perform. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Nick Rutland and AFS to anyone looking for honest, detailed, and professional service.
