Spotting daylight through a crack in the basement wall wasn't a pleasant surprise. I picked AFS to help based on their positive reviews here, and wasn't disappointed. Everyone from AFS was a pleasure to work with. Mackenzie was very attentive and thoughtful in assessing the work and coming up with a plan. Eric, Christian and Wilmer could not have been nicer or more professional, and did an amazing job on the foundation, and I couldn't believe how fast they worked their magic. Parris and Tristan went above and beyond lifting and fixing the sagging stoops. I've unfortunately had to have a lot of work done on my house, and all these guys were the best. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend AFS to anyone.

I waited a month to see how the short term results of the work they did would look and hold up. So far, I am very pleased with the quality of work, the price, and the service. Parris Houchins & Bug Boyd were very hard workers, outstanding with their customer service, and brought it down into terms that someone not familiar with foundation work could understand. I would definitely recommend them if you need a reasonably priced solution to your foundation problems.

Each facet of the project was pleasant, from beginning to end.The inspector, Isaiah, showed up on time and provided a complete and understandable evaluation of the issues I was facing with my home's foundation and concrete driveway settling. He conducted his inspection, built a presentation on his computer, complete with images of my home, a map / sketch of areas of concern, and videos further detailing the resolution process the field teams would use to fix the issues.I really found GREAT value in the quality of services as well as the warranty of the services. I did not shop any further for another contractor. AFS was my choice on the first 'at bat'.We set repair dates (3 days) for a couple weeks out once Isaiah completed his inspection and explanation.I was kept fully in the loop via emails and phone contact up to the beginning day of the project. I was very happy with the ease of getting in touch with AFS.Day 1 Eric Garcia contacted me directly around 830 am and stated he would be arriving soon. Eric and his crew, Christain and Ivan arrived and made quick introductions and wasted no time getting to work. Day 1 involed preparing 16 holes around my foundation to install SettleStop helical piers. Day 2 was much the same with the same 3 man crew, and the beginning of lifing procedures on my foundation. During both days Eric maintained constant contact with me and involved me in any decision that needed 'homeowner' attention. Great communication Eric! Day 3, final day brought Eric, Christain, and Ivan once again to complete lifing my foundation. They arrived along with Matt Martin and Paris who installed SettleStop poly renewal on my sinking / sliding driveway and a third crew, Ovy and Taylor who installed a lot of AquaStop thermal protection (wall insulation) in my crawl space. When I say these guys got to it, I mean the 4 men worked at a breakneck pace without sacrificing quality. Hats off gentlemen! I greatly appreciate your commitment.And again, ALL 3 crews maintained constant and concise communication.Once the crews finished up on day 3, ALL areas in which they worked were cleaned up as well or better than before they began. Ivan even re-seeded areas of my yard where the excavator had been. Thanks Ivan!Overall, very satisfied with the project. I will use AFS if I have any other issues they provide services for in the future.-Will F.

The technician Emmett W, that came to my house for my yearly inspection, was also one that worked on the installation of my encapsulation last year. I was shown the pictures that he took and he explained them all to me. He told me that I may want to consider changing the pumps in my crawl space with no pressure to purchase new ones. What a delightful personality he has! He was very cordial, polite and thorough. Along with the inspection we shared stories, a snack and a hug. You must be very proud to have him as one of your techs. If all your technicians are as well trained and pleasant as he was then you have an amazing team. I definitely look forward to seeing him again in the future. Thank you Emmett. (If there were ten stars, that's what I would give him. )

We had AFS come out and repair and sister a couple of joist in our house. The entire process what was very pleasant. Mason came out and scanned my home and created a floor plan that day, talk about high-tech! The floor plan was extremely helpful once Mason sat down with me and went over how we could fix and "bullet-proof" the home. With my background in Mechanical Design, I appreciated the collaboration as multiple options were presented and we worked/tweaked the design to fit within my budget. We agreed on a price and date and I was told by Mason that the installation crew would arrive on time and would also show the same level of professionalism as he did. I was pleasantly surprised that he was right! Taylor Fox, David Ennis, and David Smith where the three young men that came to do the work. They were on time, respected my home, and went above and beyond to make sure that they cleaned up after the work was done. The entire crew was very willing to answer any questions I had and explained what they were doing. I cannot recommend them enough! We plan to keep doing work with AFS in the near future! Thank you all for the help!
