We originally contacted AFS for some uneven flooring. They suggested installing floor supports in some key locations and warned us that later we may have the need for girder beam support. That day arrived when AFS showed up for a routine inspection of the original support piers. Todd, our sales representative, was thorough with his explanation and made the options we had clear. The install day, Micah and Kayden communicated their arrival time and worked extremely hard all day. The job was 2 days and they again let us know they were coming early the next morning. Again, they worked very hard all day long and into the early evening. I can't say enough about their work ethic. It was refreshing to witness. They got all the steel placed on the girder beams and extra support piers in place. Great experience and we would highly recommend them if you are in need of any type of foundation issues.

Five stars to the A team at AFS Nashville – Edward, Nick B, Josh B, Abel, Henry and Damien. They were great to work with, wonderfully experienced at their craft, and communicated well, and delivered a nice solution. I have an older standalone garage that between piers and poly, they managed to level out the foundation then minimize and level the cracks inside. I would give them six stars if i could. Very happy with AFS and thier wonderful employees.

Some times you have a company come out and the employees just stand out and do great work and deserve recognition. The crew from AFS Anthony, Devin, and Hunter were absolutely amazing. Anthony stayed in constant contact with me, from before they arrived each morning to each time they were leaving the property to get supplies, to when they were completing each work day. The professionalism from the three workers truly shows they take pride in their work. They kept their job site clean and managed throughout the day. Thank you for the respect and professionalism.

Our experience with AFS was excellent! Our consultation was with Tim. We were comfortable with his plan to address the issues with our foundation. Our work crew was Victor, Antonio and Ubaldo. They were professional and kind. I spoke mostly with Victor and he was patient while he took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. Very knowledgeable about the issues we had and the corrections. As a bonus, the work was scheduled to take two days and it was complete at the end of day one. I definitely recommend!

It started with field inspector Mike coming in and reviewing what I was trying to accomplish, and then helping me develop a budget that I was comfortable with. It ended with installers Cody, Brady, and Aiden coming in and doing an excellent job of incapsulating my crawl space. All and all, this was one of my best experience working with contractors on a project.

I tried to gird myself for what to expect when it comes to the bottom line, but I'd be lying if I said I was successful. I knew the crawlspace was in bad shape, but didn't know how bad it actually was until Justin Carter arrived to do the inspection. He took me through it step by step, and I never once doubted his or AFS's knowledge, professionalism, or capability. In the end, the process was smooth and easily accomplished, and no step ever felt like I was being rushed or pushed along. I felt like I was in good and earnest hangs. Yes, it's expensive, but good things cost money.

EDIT for 2026: The five star review still holds from the previous review below, years later after the original work. On an annual service and inspection, Josh Whitt just did our service. This gentleman is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He even took the time to explain everything and took some excellent readings and pictures of the work. 100% customer confidence. This is the level of work we expect from someone who does the work on one of our most important things, our home. Josh communicated great from start to finish. Well done from start to finish. We appreciate your service. Initial work review (4 years ago): The AFS team is excellent. We have a pretty large amount of work that needs to be done at our house, to include sump, dehumidifier installation, ,general contractor wood work, and encapsulation. Dustin Loeb did a great job estimating the work, and did not hesitate to come out and take another look at something or answer any questions we had. I cannot say enough about how fantastic the communication is with AFS. From when the work was to begin, to when the crews are going to be there, to any updates or any changes that would be necessary are very clearly communicated in person or by a phone call. Special mention to the AFS crew that has been working at our place this week: Richard Warner and Nick Lee. I was greeted every morning by Richard who told me the plan for the day, and at the end of the day showed me pictures of what they were working on under the house and how things were looking. The crew takes great pride in their work, and pays attention to detail, communicating everything they do. And that's something I appreciate. We still have some general contractor work to do, and then encapsulation after that. I'm looking forward to AFS finishing up and keeping up the excellent work!

Trent explained everything to me and kept me updated on the progress. Work was completed in one day and did they did an awesome job of cleaning up when done. The crew that worked on my house—Uber, Jorge, Chris, and Thomas—were absolutely wonderful. They were professional and courteous. I especially appreciated their onsite expertise and excellent communication. They explained the foundation work that my house needed in such a way as to answer all of my questions and to put me completely at ease. They earned my trust with their knowledge, integrity, and quality work. My foundation is now stable, and the process for me was a breeze because of Mitch, Uber, Jorge, Chris, and Thomas.

AFS was very responsive when I first called about my foundation structural issues. They explained what needed to be done and gave an estimate that was affordable for the work being done. They scheduled when the work would be done and was on point with that schedule. The guys who performed the service, Jordan, AJ and Eli were on time, calling to let me know they were on they way. Jordan explained the full process and answered any questions I had. He was very professional and knowledgeable, a pleasure to talk to. AJ was a pleasure to chat with, professional and love what he was doing. He was the newest on the team and as I watched him work I was very impressed. Eli was a pleasure to chat with and was also a great help to the guys. All three guys did an awesome job and cleaned up the areas they work after the job was done. I would absolutely recommend this company and team to do your foundation and structural work. Thank you guys for doing an amazing job and walking me through the process as you did the work!

Mike and his team were timely and efficient and accomplished the job in amazingly quick time, then cleaned their work area, returning it to its original condition. Nick, Josh, and Glen were awesome if I could give them 10 stars I would. Nick explained everything very well and I can tell he's an attention to detail kind of guy. We had Olshan come out the first time and we were not impressed by their response time. ASF assessed the problem and were able to schedule us for the following week. They're not the cheapest but they're worth it for sure.

Jordan came out to evaluate my foundation wall cracking. What a refreshing experience. Jordan’s amount of knowledge, empathy , and non pushy attitude was a welcome change. When we have that occasional eed for a contractor, we almost dislike to personal experience more than the problem. NOT in this case. AFS and Jordan are a true pleasure to deal with. The level of professionalism and knowledge was awesome! Even though it turns out we do need some work to stabilize our foundation, the price was fair, the value is fantastic, and the communication is the kind of stuff you wish for but rarely get. I’d give Jordan and AFS 10 stars if I could. Call these guys! You won’t regret the service or the experience.

I needed a sidewalk lifted and some voids under the garage floor filled, so I contacted AFS do get an estimate for the repairs. The estimator, Jordan Clark, did a thorough inspection and told us what was needed. I decided to go ahead with the repairs, and this morning Parris Houchins and Aiden Langford completed the repairs. The sidewalk is back up where it’s supposed to be, the trip hazards gone, and the garage floor shored up so it shouldn’t crack and settle down the road. Parris was very helpful in explaining what they were doing. I’d recommend AFS Knoxville for your sidewalk/driveway lifting needs.
