AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists Completes Push-Up Challenge for Pediatric Cancer

The AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists team pushed themselves to support children and families affected by pediatric cancer. As part of the ‘Goodworks by Groundworks’ program, over 600 employees participated in the 3,000 Push-ups Challenge throughout the month of December, resulting in a whopping $100,000 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

The challenge, which required employees to complete 100 push-ups a day, was initiated by Matt Malone, CEO of Groundworks. Employees at AFSand other locations across the country enthusiastically took up the challenge, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. 

The ‘Goodworks’ program is a key initiative at AFS, where employees are encouraged to participate in non-profit partnerships and volunteerism to give back to their local communities. In addition to the push-up challenge, AFS employees will be getting their hands dirty with Habitat for Humanity later this year to participate in home builds.
