Coastal Alabama Down Syndrome Society (CADSS) Buddy Walk

On Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, team members from AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists gathered at Loxley Municipal Park in Loxley, AL to proudly serve as Silver sponsors for the Coastal Alabama Down Syndrome Society (CADSS) Buddy Walk. As returning supporters for the second year in a row, our team was excited to contribute to this impactful community event once again.

The Buddy Walk is a vibrant celebration and fundraiser that promotes acceptance and inclusion for individuals with Down Syndrome. The day featured a one-mile walk, fun-filled games for all ages, a lively DJ, and special guests — creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere that resonated with everyone in attendance.

CADSS continues to enrich the lives of individuals and families across Southwest Alabama by providing educational resources, developmental programs, and life-stage support. Our team had a blast showing their support and cheering on the incredible participants and families who inspire our community every day.

What We Achieved Together

While official attendance statistics were not provided, the event demonstrated strong local support and created a meaningful impact throughout Southwest Alabama. As a regionally focused initiative, the 2025 Buddy Walk united families, advocates, and organizations to raise awareness and spread joy.
