AFS Sponsors Kentucky Humane Society’s 30th Annual Waggin’ Tail on the Waterfront

Animals bring a lot of love and comfort to people, but they can’t always ask for or get the help they need. It’s important to stand up and lend a helping hand—or paw.

When our AFS Foundation & Waterproofing team heard about a fun-filled community event benefiting fur babies, we jumped at the chance to get involved. We proudly sponsored the 30th Annual Waggin’ Tail on the Waterfront Birthday Pawty and Festival.

Held June 2 at the Waterfront Park’s Festival Plaza in Louisville, the family-friendly event featured face painting, a variety of food trucks and refreshments, and our favorite: puppy cuddling! All proceeds benefited the Kentucky Humane Society.

As a champion for companion animals, the Kentucky Humane Society is creating more compassionate communities through leadership, education, and proactive solutions. The organization envisions a future where every companion animal receives the care, resources, and lifelong home they deserve. They are committed to saving every healthy, behaviorally sound animal in their care, and they never euthanize pets due to a lack of space.

While the non-profit organization is based in Louisville, its reach extends beyond the immediate area, covering 70 counties throughout the state.
