AFS Sponsors YMCA of South Alabama’s Tee Off for a Good Cause Golf Tournament

Golf is a leisure activity for many, but it’s even more enjoyable to hit the green with the intention of having a positive impact on the lives of others.

AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists was a proud sponsor of Tee Off for a Good Cause. The 12^th annual golf tournament, held on April 19, 2024, at Rock Creek Golf Club. Proceeds from the event directly benefitted the YMCA of South Alabama’s campaign for youth, families, and seniors.

The YMCA is a non-profit community organization that unites people of all ages and backgrounds with a shared purpose: strengthening the community’s foundations. Dedicated to nurturing the potential of youth, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and cultivating social responsibility, the Y ensures that everyone has access to the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Serving areas throughout southern Alabama, the local Y offers various programs throughout the year, including swimming lessons, personal training, dance, archery, and more.

Along with sponsoring the golf tournament, several AFS employees also participated in the fun-filled event. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting like-minded community members and contributing to a worthy cause.
