McKamey Animal Center Gets Local Support from AFS

AFS Chattanooga had the unique opportunity to support the animals in their neighborhood by sponsoring an adoption event.

McKamey Animal Center, located in Chattanooga, assists in rehoming and caring for animals that have been found by an animal services officer or surrendered by an owner unable to keep them. McKamey brings expert animal care to the Chattanooga area and strives to make an impact on the community.

AFS covered all adoption, spay/neuter, and vaccine fees for the entire weekend. As a result of the event, 25 adults and senior animals were adopted, including a few by AFS team members. Employees enjoyed their time helping the four-legged friends of their community.
