He was very good about explaining how water can find its way in to foundations of houses and options for how to address it. I highly recommend AFS. Mitch, my project manager, was so thorough and helpful. He kept me updated throughout the process and promptly answered any question that came up. The crew that worked on my house—Uber, Jorge, Chris, and Thomas—were absolutely wonderful. They were professional and courteous. I especially appreciated their onsite expertise and excellent communication. They explained the foundation work that my house needed in such a way as to answer all of my questions and to put me completely at ease. They earned my trust with their knowledge, integrity, and quality work. My foundation is now stable, and the process for me was a breeze because of Mitch, Uber, Jorge, Chris, and Thomas.

AFS did a great job encapsulating our crawl space. Brad, Breon and their team were professional, on time, and explained everything clearly. The work was completed efficiently, and the space is now clean, sealed, and well-protected from moisture. Very satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend them!

Our foundation issue was more serious then we realized. Caleb did a great job while he was doing his inspection on showing us where the foundation settled and also what was causing these issues. The crew got out here quick to install the piers and were professional, hard working, and cleaned up after they were done. I would recommend AFS to anyone that has foundation concerns!

Dan Gordon came out this past Tuesday to do an assessment on the foundation of my home. When looking at the cracks on our home, we did not think that this was a major issue. When Dan arrived, he took the time to assess the foundation issues that we were having and explained that this was more of an issue than what we were led to believe. Dan was able to give us a diagnosis on what the symptoms were and a clear path to fix this problem.

As far as the foundation work itself—I think I’m pleased. We had one side of the house done a little over a year ago, and the other side completed just a few weeks ago. Everything looked good at first, until I noticed how poorly the French drain’s corrugated pipe had been reinstalled. To their credit, they were kind when I called, returned my message promptly, and even brought me extra black pipe so I wouldn’t have to buy it myself. That part I appreciated. However, when we originally had the work done, we specifically asked that the pipe be reinstalled close to the house because we plant our garden in that area every year. The whole section near the house was dug up, but instead of reinstalling the pipe properly—while they had everything exposed—they left large holes in the pipe, didn’t level it for proper drainage, buried it unevenly (some spots were six inches deep, others barely two), and failed to reconnect it properly to the downspout. I’m getting foundation work done—the last thing I need is poor drainage. If you're going to do a sloppy job, at least let me know before covering it all back up. Instead, I had to figure everything out when I started planting my garden. What should’ve been a simple day of planting turned into several days of digging. Now I’m redoing the whole thing myself—and I know it’ll be done right—but I’m not happy. If they ever have to do more work at my house, I will absolutely be present and watching I gave them 4 stars because it seems the foundation work was well done. The work previously done in our crawl space on the other side of our house went smoothly.
