My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about this company so far and mostly because of the amazing experiences we've had with Tyler Cooper at AFS. They're quick to respond, quick to schedule you for the free consultation, and quick to schedule you for the necessary work. You can tell Tyler is knowledgeable and professional, but somehow makes it feel like you have a buddy of yours helping you out instead of a company. Thank you!

Rhett Stephens was amazing! He took his time with us to make sure we understood what the issues were, how they came to be, and what our options were. We felt no pressure at all; just true honesty. He was very professional and prepared to answer all our questions. He spent a lot of time with us and didn’t want to leave without making sure we felt comfortable with our decision. The project is overwhelming, but we feel confident in this company.

Justin Carter with AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists recently came out to inspect my foundation and provide a quote for lifting the concrete on my stoop, which had settled enough to become a trip hazard. From start to finish, he was extremely professional, punctual, and communicative. He confirmed our appointment the day before, called when he was 15 minutes away, and arrived right on time. Justin took the time to clearly explain the inspection process, made sure I understood what he would be looking at, and asked thoughtful questions about my concerns and goals. He completed a thorough inspection, then carefully walked me through his findings and the available options. I especially appreciated that he was informative without being pushy or high-pressure in any way. Overall, Justin was great to work with, and I would highly recommend him and AFS to anyone needing foundation or concrete repair services.

This company came through for us when we needed them the most. After having a home fire a few months earlier, money was tight, and Jonathan was incredibly understanding. He offered several affordable options and made sure we were taken care of. We had rain coming within the week, and I was worried about the brand‑new carpet we had just installed. Jonathan and his team got us scheduled quickly and finished the job before the storm hit. It poured the next day, and thanks to their work, we had zero flooding — and still don’t to this day. From the first visit to the final cleanup, the entire team was professional, efficient, and kind. I’m extremely satisfied and highly recommend Jonathan and his crew. Five stars from start to finish.

Jackson, Mikey and Michal did a fantastic job stabilizing my house. They had to add 23 posts and steel beams all throughout a house built in 1962. We were working on parts of the home that made their jobs more difficult at the time, and they didn't miss a beat. Super understanding, flexible, and went the extra mile to help me out making sure we weren't getting in each other's way. My history with AFS spans several years and multiple technicians, supervisors, and managers. Throughout that time, we’ve worked through a long and challenging effort to stabilize an interior wall, with many visits and repair approaches along the way. This most recent visit, however, was different. Nick D'Esposito, Adam McBay, and his crew — Josh, Bailey, and Wayne — were able to accurately diagnose the underlying issue, place the right support equipment in the correct locations, and spend the necessary time fine‑tuning the adjustments. Their work eliminated gaps in the moldings and significantly stiffened the floor near the problem wall. These gentlemen are a true asset to AFS and to the customers they serve. AFS’ (Groundworks) Senior Leadership Team in Virginia could learn a great deal from them when it comes to communication, customer satisfaction, and follow‑through. I look forward to seeing Adam, Josh, Bailey, and Wayne again soon for the final adjustments.

Had a major issue with dad’s front steps sagging over time. AFS did a great job lifting concrete steps and sidewalk back into position. Cleanup after the job was exceptional. Super courteous crew including Parris Houchins, Bug Boyd, Edgar Perez, Benjamin Esparza, and Josh Britton. I should also mention that my sales rep Jason Camp did an excellent job on the front end… Checking with his experts to make sure the lift could be successful and meet expectations. Really appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the entire job.

I can’t say anything but great things about Gunter the technician that came to do my annual home inspection this year. He was very professional and competent explained things well. He also went above and beyond because there was a part that needed to be replaced, and he did not have it in his truck, but he made a point to call me on Saturday. Yes the weekend and say he was in the area and would be happy to run by and put it on if that was OK. I told him that would be fine and that I was extremely impressed that he would make time on his day off to take care of getting this fixed. It is a great company and Gunter is a great example of the talented service oriented staff they have.

This company and this crew was stellar! I had worried about my foundation for at least a year. Jacob Wattenbarger did a great job of explaining what was needed. A special thanks to the crew of Victor, Antonio, Guadalupe and Tyler Lee. They KNEW what they were doing! When you see a backhoe up against your house it is unsettling. They did a phenomenal job and I'm grateful for you!
