We had to repair or replace a 18×20 ft concrete patio at our condo that had a major crack, and I got three companies to give me an estimate- two of them were going to just remove the old patio and re-pour the patio. The AFS estimator showed me exactly what had caused the problem – the ground on one side had sunk due to moisture, and showed me a video of their foam process which lifts the concrete back into place and is ready to use after 15 minutes. The work is guaranteed for 5 years and the warranty is transferable to a new owner. The price quoted was less than half of one of the concrete replacement quotes that I was considering. The two technicians that performed the work were very professional and did the entire repair, including cleanup, in less than an hour. They took great care to ensure that the concrete was completely level and that the crack was filled and covered. I was very pleased with the entire process and will use them again in the future if any other foundation or concrete problems occur.

I need to apologize to Gavin and Jonathan for not writting this review soon enough, I simply got tied up and forgot until I found the review form. I do hope they can still win any company benefits because they were the best workings I have talked to in a ling time. Informative of the steps, respectful and careful of my property and of course doing the job quicker than I could get pictures of it. And unfortunately I cant recall the Project Managers name, but his card is here on my desk somewhere, and he was very helpful on working with me on raising my porch. A previous company told me they had a minimal cost of $1,500 for the foam injections, where AFS did the whole job for a little over that amount as they do so much, they have no minimal charge. He also told me the 3 jacks I had been quoted by other services was not needed (I knew that, but he confirmed my knowledge and earned my respect by telling me the truth). So hopefully all 3 will win any company benefits for this, I very seldom give 5 stars, only when a company fully exceeds my expectations. At least now I do not have to worry about my porch falling into the abyss.

Before starting they showed and explained to ne what they were going to do, the support structures to be installed and asked me to come out and see the job progress. Upon completion, we did a walk around to see the actual install before covering back in the dig out holes Did a good job reclaiming the disturbed ground and placing the removed sod back in place Very happy with the job, workers were very nice and respectful. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction

I scheduled my repairs today with Tim and Cole. What was something causing a great deal of fear and anxiety, they calmed. They broke every part of the foundation need down into a way I could understand. They took their time explaining and happily answered even my most ridiculous question. They spent nearly 3hrs just ensuring I knew step by step what to expect. This level of service and trust is unheard of. I'm confident and comfortable moving forward with my home repairs. I couldn't say enough about how wonderful Tim and Cole were. Both men obviously know their job and truly believe in their work. Great men and a great company. Thank you!

I had Mason come out to inspect the foundation on a house I’m in the process of buying, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, Mason was extremely professional and took the time to clearly explain the entire inspection process and exactly what he was looking for. He performed a thorough assessment, including detailed measurements of a basement wall that had horizontal cracking, and his measurements clearly showed what the wall was doing structurally. What I really appreciated was that Mason was not pushy at all and didn’t try to scare me into an expensive or unnecessary repair. He laid everything out honestly, explained the findings in a way that was easy to understand, and provided a clear solution. The recommended fix was also far more affordable than I was expecting, which was a huge relief. If you’re looking for a foundation inspector who is knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward, I highly recommend Mason. He made a stressful situation much easier to navigate.

I needed a sidewalk lifted and some voids under the garage floor filled, so I contacted AFS do get an estimate for the repairs. The estimator, Jordan Clark, did a thorough inspection and told us what was needed. I decided to go ahead with the repairs, and this morning Parris Houchins and Aiden Langford completed the repairs. The sidewalk is back up where it’s supposed to be, the trip hazards gone, and the garage floor shored up so it shouldn’t crack and settle down the road. Parris was very helpful in explaining what they were doing. I’d recommend AFS Knoxville for your sidewalk/driveway lifting needs.

I requested a quote to potentially repair my floors and basement. The inspector, Nate Burrow arrived on time and explained the inspection process clearly. He performed a thorough inspection. Unfortunately my house is in too poor condition to undertake repairs because water and termite damage is too extensive. Nate saved me money by letting me know that undertaking repairs would be costly and would probably uncover a continuous chain of other unseen problems. This let me know that my money would be better spent building a new home instead of throwing it at an unending project. Thank you Nate!

We have used AFS Huntsville for a few different projects on our 40+ year old house. The teams have always been professional, polite and responsive during our dealings with them. The work they perform is always to a high standard, with pictures and any necessary explanations provided. We have maintained a maintenance schedule with AFS, with them performing annual inspections of the clean space, support beam and dehumidifier. Two recent projects AFS has accomplished are the addition of a second entrance to our crawl space and a support post to lift a set of floor joists located over the opening in a support wall. We highly recommend AFS Huntsville for any foundation, driveway or crawlspace projects you may have.

The guys Bobby, David, and Bryce that come out to do the work on my home was extremely professional! They called to let me know they were on their way, let us know when they finished, made sure I didn’t have any questions for the team daily, made sure I didn’t have any issues that needed to be addressed in the process, didn’t bother us as they worked, cleaned up after themselves each day, asked to leave couple items overnight for the job and placed a cone by it, steadily worked in 105 heat index taking 1-2 breaks, let us know when completed to let me inspect and showed me everything done explaining through details of it, answering all questions I had while inspecting, the process they did to protect it and the dehumidifier. Once they finished inspection with me, they finished cleaning everything up and one sat down with me to finish process and signing still making sure all my questions and concerns were answered. He then looked at my plan and explained future of the system and what will take place. I trusted the process of them and extremely satisfied. These men were an absolute representation of the company from start to finish! I’m absolutely very happy with them and process. Highly recommend.

He also promptly returned all texts questions and calls. Eddie was the foreman with Baron and Jackson as crew. I would like to give thanks to my two guys installer for my crawl space foundation waterproofing specialist Matthew Ridley and Shane Lowe they were excellent they came in and did a thing and communicated with me and make sure that I was happy and satisfied with the work that they perform and they cleaned up their mess and put things back inside my crawl space I really appreciate their job good workers for sure not one time that I ever seen him not doing anything they kept me informed with everything they was doing I love the job that they did I will take a picture it was too dark down there right now this job was done on July the 1st Thank you guys for the excellent job y'all did for me AFS company I will recommend them to do any job is dealing with your crawl space basement or anything that's dealing with water foundations. Evan, Jorge, and Aldo did a fantastic job. They were quick ( they stayed until a 2 day job was finished in 1), efficient and even acted like they liked our cooking (we made them take a break to eat lunch with us). When the job was finished everything was super clean. They explained everything they did, the warranty, the pump and dehumidifier and the floor and wall coverings.We have used AFS twice now and would highly recommend them.

We originally contacted AFS for some uneven flooring. They suggested installing floor supports in some key locations and warned us that later we may have the need for girder beam support. That day arrived when AFS showed up for a routine inspection of the original support piers. Todd, our sales representative, was thorough with his explanation and made the options we had clear. The install day, Micah and Kayden communicated their arrival time and worked extremely hard all day. The job was 2 days and they again let us know they were coming early the next morning. Again, they worked very hard all day long and into the early evening. I can't say enough about their work ethic. It was refreshing to witness. They got all the steel placed on the girder beams and extra support piers in place. Great experience and we would highly recommend them if you are in need of any type of foundation issues.

Even when the news of needed repairs hit, the technician remained both tactful and compassionate – ensuring that we were in good hands. When the installation technicians arrived, they got right to work, and provided daily updates. Upon completion, the installation technicians sent pictures and videos of the completed crawl space work. They were courteous and kind, as well as professional. The entire process was fantastic, I would highly recommend this company, for all things crawlspace foundation and basement.

AFS is an awesome company that continues to provide quality work and hire top of the line people. This company also stands behind its work. In 2019 we selected AFS to repair our home’s foundation problem and to encapsulate our crawlspace. Their work was amazing. Since then, we enrolled in their program of having yearly inspections. Some 5 years later, our home was inspected today by an outstanding employee of AFS, Michael Chaffin. He was OUTSTANDING and he’s a wonderful people person. He’s THOROUGH, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PASSIONATE, PATIENT, THOUGHTFUL, and PRECISE. He was very detailed oriented. He identified problems and AFS will make the repair to fix the issues. He also recommended something that we could do as homeowners, which we took his advice and is investing in a 2nd crawl space single with a back up pump. Me and my husband were extremely pleased with the service provided by Michael and without hesitation will recommend to family and friends AFS for any foundation repairs.

Our porch stairs had settled and since the brick is no longer available, we opted to try and lift and stabilize the existing stairs. AFS was very responsive and proposed a pier system. They were very communicative and arrived on time to do the work. Their crew, Andres, Jordan, and Joshua worked in a very professional manner to quickly complete the job. They were as careful as possible to leave a minimum post-work footprint, and the property looked good when they left. The lift and stabilization procedure was successful and we are satisfied customers. We would recommend AFS for this type of work.

He took the time to thoroughly explain everything that needed to be done, answered all of my questions without rushing, and made sure I felt confident in the process. He approached the job with care and precision, and it was obvious he genuinely cares about doing things the right way. As for AFS, the company as a whole exceeded my expectations.
