Our porch stairs had settled and since the brick is no longer available, we opted to try and lift and stabilize the existing stairs. AFS was very responsive and proposed a pier system. They were very communicative and arrived on time to do the work. Their crew, Andres, Jordan, and Joshua worked in a very professional manner to quickly complete the job. They were as careful as possible to leave a minimum post-work footprint, and the property looked good when they left. The lift and stabilization procedure was successful and we are satisfied customers. We would recommend AFS for this type of work.

We contacted AFS to lift/stabilize our old concrete porch slab. Peyton, the field inspector, was very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect. On the day of the work, Nick B. and Josh B. were on time, excellent at walking us through the process, and did a great job at the repair and clean up. Our porch did not raise dramatically like we hoped, but this was not at any fault of the crew. From the very beginning they were very clear that lift wouldn't be guaranteed. The sag, however, did almost entirely resolve and we are confident that it is stabilized now. We will definitely call AFS again if we ever need any of their services!

We were happy with it then, but Josh B and Bailey L made us a promise that if we got my heavy hutch full of dishes moved then they would come back and do some readjusting. Well, we got it moved, and those guys came back on a Saturday in their personal vehicle without being on the clock and did exactly what they said they were going to do!!! In mine and my husband’s eyes that speaks volumes! We love AFS and we will absolutely use these guys in the future when we buy our new home if we need any sort of foundation or waterproofing! We had quotes from three different companies for encapsulation and foundation repair but went with AFS as they caught a couple things the other companies did not. Also, we liked the heavier duty product they offer for encapsulation, plus an air tight/insulated crawlspace door. Nikoli E, Caleb B, Ivan G and Christian P. did a great job and left the crawlspace neat and tidy. Nickoli was very communicative and has the most excellent customer service skills of any contractor I've ever worked with. They did not promise they could lift our floor to level but in the end, it looks and feels almost level! We were pleasantly surprised. Thanks for a great experience!

Thanks to Jonathan Beaird, the Certified Field Inspector, the work was rescheduled two weeks earlier and completed within the two rescheduled days. I was very thankful for Luis, the Pier Crew Foreman, who explained the process in detail and stayed connected with me during the entire process. He certainly gave me the confidence and assurance I needed. Peace of mind is of utmost importance in a project of this size. The Pier Crew, Jose and Jordan were very helpful also in answering questions and were very efficient in their work. The crew finished and cleaned up the surrounding area to my satisfaction. The Poly Crew, Gaven Dendy and Aaron Geinert were very professional and explained their part of the process. They did a great job. Both crews were very efficient, polite, professional and top of their field providing the best customer service. I appreciate the work of both crews and their professionalism.

My front porch steps are concrete and were pulling away from my house so I contacted AFS for help. Dylan, Tanner, and Mason came and checked everything out near my steps to see where water pipes and septic pipes ran before they started the job. They answered all my questions before they started. They broke out the concrete, hand dug to find footings, ran piers to 1600 psi, did lift procedure, and fondly sealed cracks and patched the concrete. Overall they did a good job and I'm well pleased.

Wow! I am on the building and grounds Committee for our church and what started as a flooring moisture problem was discovered to be a crawl space moisture problem. With a complete inspection from Abe Austin he showed us our problem source and how we could remediate for the future. The encapsulation crew of John Jones, Anthony G. And Gavin P. were clean and professional all the while keeping us informed. We also had a foundation problem on the corners of our Sanctuary that AFS, with the crew of Cesar Moreno, Juan Zumora and Meguiel, placed helicals to lift and stabilize the foundation. We could not have asked for a better job, crew or price. Our church is now ready for future generations. Thank you so much for a job well done.

As far as the foundation work itself—I think I’m pleased. We had one side of the house done a little over a year ago, and the other side completed just a few weeks ago. Everything looked good at first, until I noticed how poorly the French drain’s corrugated pipe had been reinstalled. To their credit, they were kind when I called, returned my message promptly, and even brought me extra black pipe so I wouldn’t have to buy it myself. That part I appreciated. However, when we originally had the work done, we specifically asked that the pipe be reinstalled close to the house because we plant our garden in that area every year. The whole section near the house was dug up, but instead of reinstalling the pipe properly—while they had everything exposed—they left large holes in the pipe, didn’t level it for proper drainage, buried it unevenly (some spots were six inches deep, others barely two), and failed to reconnect it properly to the downspout. I’m getting foundation work done—the last thing I need is poor drainage. If you're going to do a sloppy job, at least let me know before covering it all back up. Instead, I had to figure everything out when I started planting my garden. What should’ve been a simple day of planting turned into several days of digging. Now I’m redoing the whole thing myself—and I know it’ll be done right—but I’m not happy. If they ever have to do more work at my house, I will absolutely be present and watching I gave them 4 stars because it seems the foundation work was well done. The work previously done in our crawl space on the other side of our house went smoothly.

I received several quotes for my foundation issues. The first was high for the limited scope that they were going to do, the second one told me that I needed to hire an engineer and then I got the quote from AFS. While these type of repairs are expensive to do they worked with me to come up with a plan that will take care of my issues, but that could work with a budget. Jesse, Selvin and Smith performed my repairs. They explained all that they were doing and even when we ran into an issue they addressed it and I was very satisfied with the work that was done.

First off, Jason J. Stoughton is phenomenal!! A good company has to have a good team. We've been ripped off in the past from contractors, and it was hard to trust someone else to come in and do any type of repairs. Jason was very thorough in his assessment and took his time explaining what the issues were. I can actually say I was beyond impressed with the outcome! The whole crew (Evan, Roberto, Handyman Legend and the entire crew) were amazing and very supportive. They got straight to work. They explained what they were going to do and answered any questions that we had. I felt like part of the AFS family more than a customer. Thank you Jason and the crew for taking good care of us. The house has been in our family for generations and it means a lot to our family. I would highly recommend AFS and will be using them in the future.

They were on time and gave a heads up call before the job. This crew did my foundation. The materials are quite impressive! I know what side of my house to go to in case of a bad storm, lol. The young men were hard workers and knew their job. I'm very impressed with their work. This company is lucky to have such a great crew who represents them. Friday I have the same company coming out to correct my walkway because it's dangerously uneven. They are going to use the foam. Thank you to Hank, David and Germain.
