Hi! This is Mona from Taylorsville and I would like to tell you about my experience with AFS Foundation repair and waterproofing. I would like to say my meeting with Alex Parker-a specialist with AFS-, was a great experience. I thought I might be having some foundation problems with my home. I googled and found AFS. I made a call and spoke with Katrina. She was quite pleasant to speak with, very mannerly and really understanding. She asked a few questions and immediately wanted to set an appointment the very next day. Shortly after I hung up the phone, Alex Parker gave me a call. He was the gentleman that was coming to do my inspection. I really was anxious on how the meeting and inspection would go…afraid I would be talked into something very expensive, mainly because I didn't know if I had issues or not. Needless to say, Alex was very thorough in his inspection. (almost 2 hours)…He came back in the house wanting to show me the pics he had taken and he was very quick to set my fears at rest….nothing majorly wrong. I immediately thanked MY JESUS for answered prayer. I also let him know I had been praying so hard that there would not be an expensive situation that I could not afford. I learned that Alex also led his life pleasing the Lord as well as his customers. I would recommend Alex Parker anytime to someone looking for foundation, concrete repair or waterproofing. A very nice and caring young man.

My front porch steps are concrete and were pulling away from my house so I contacted AFS for help. Dylan, Tanner, and Mason came and checked everything out near my steps to see where water pipes and septic pipes ran before they started the job. They answered all my questions before they started. They broke out the concrete, hand dug to find footings, ran piers to 1600 psi, did lift procedure, and fondly sealed cracks and patched the concrete. Overall they did a good job and I'm well pleased.

I highly recommend this company. We had a terrible basement that needed to be waterproof, from the consultation to the installation, everything went exactly to what they said. They ran into a void in the concrete and I was worried, the crew problem solved it and corrected the issue. Extremely professional and cleaned up beautifully. Caleb did excellent during consultation. AFS performed superbly on our job, encapsulating and drying our crawl space in a 85 year old Norris, TN house. A major difficulty was immediately discovered — the original cast iron sewage drain was slowly leaking at several seams. This required a significant repair before encapsulation — restoration cleanup and a new modern PVC drain installation by complimentary contractors. AFS effectively advised us, and they rescheduled their work. The AFS team, Tanner, ( crew leader) and Jake and John, did the encapsulation. They worked hard, communicated effectively and the result was impressive. I’m very delighted we used AFS and strongly recommend them.

AFS Nashville just finished a total encapsulation of our crawl space. From the initial assessment, proposal presentation, financing options, to the outstanding installation team…this company is 5 Star!!! Every person we worked with was both professional, experienced, delivered on their promises, and very thorough. In particular, their installation team led by Evan Jensen along with Aldo Gracia and Jorge Martinez were outstanding. They communicated extremely well, were polite, on time, were very considerate of our property, and their encapsulation install looks amazing. What a great experience! Riley, Nathan and Lupe executed the job exceptionally well, communicated regularly and finished on time! From start to finish, the experience has been impressive. I highly recommend AFS! Invasive work on your home’s foundation is a disconcerting thought. AFS made it a point to clearly define the work, process and functions. Had a great experience with Alan M. during an inspection. He was very thorough and took pictures of everything. Then he took the time to explain each image and what needed to be done to correct the issues. He itemized each project that needed to be completed and showed the possible phases that could be used to finish some or all of the needed repairs. At no time did I feel he tried to pressure me into hiring AFS, but he broke down what AFS would do if they were contracted to complete the repairs. He was very friendly and personable throughout the whole inspection.

We had a great experience with AFS! After dealing with multiple opinions and estimates regarding our basement/foundation concerns, AFS came in with a practical, straightforward approach that made us feel much more comfortable moving forward. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the stabilization process without using scare tactics or trying to oversell unnecessary work. The installation crew was timely, respectful of our home, and completed the job efficiently. We especially appreciated how responsive and patient they were throughout the process, answering questions and helping us better understand the engineer’s recommendations. The finished work looks clean and gives us peace of mind moving forward. If you’re looking for a foundation company that is honest, professional, and solution-focused, we would definitely recommend AFS.

I had foundation piers installed at the end of February along 1 side of the house. It was scheduled to be a 2 full day project, but Jesse Phillips and his crew were able to get done in one and a half days. It was just above freezing that week so during the grading and filling all of the holes he told me would come back after the ground thawed to regrade again since the dirt was frozen. I got him scheduled about 6 weeks later and everything has been graded again. Aside from the hay and new grass you wouldn't know something had been done.

Hats off to Blake, Arnold, Yoni and team leader Ricardo for doing an awesome job installing our perimeter drain system, sub pumps, and wall moisture barrier. They were knowledgeable, talented, and professional. They showed up on time every day and kept us in the communication loop. Looking forward to having a dry basement in the 50 year old house that we bought last summer. Uriel, Bryce, and Austin were amazing! The corner of our home was sinking due to age and an old tree root rotting underneath. I didn’t think the amount of sinkage was that bad, but the difference was crazy! They communicated with me the whole time, and explained everything thoroughly after the job was completed. An added bonus we didn’t ask for, they took the old root out and dumped it for us!

I recently had a foundation issue with my garage. I reached out to AFS based on ads I heard on the radio. Sawyer from AFS came to my home and gave me an assessment and quote. I was very pleased with his knowledge and honest assessment of the situation. If you are in need of a foundation repair, I would highly recommend you give AFS a call. Specifically ask for Sawyer if you want someone very knowledgeable! Update: The work on my garage was just completed and the outstanding crew of Fernando, Marco and Uber was incredible. It was a full days work for them and they kept be informed as they completed the various steps along the way. Highly recommend AFS and this crew!

Nick Cianciolo with AFS in Nashville came to my home today for the annual inspection. I noticed some issues with my flooring and bought them to his attention. After his inspection, he made a detailed plan to resolve the issue and explained everything in detail so I knew exactly what caused the issue, but more importantly how to correct the problem. Nick was meticulous and even found a slight plumbing leak during his inspection. He is a true professional and a great asset to AFS.
