Rhett Stephens, Certified Field Inspector, from AFS visited a couple days ago. He was very thorough in his examination of my basement and crawl space, even carefully inspecting the outside of the home, grading, gutters and downspouts. He explained all of his findings and concerns EXTREMELY well. Yes, I capitalized extremely because I ask a lot of questions to ensure I fully understand. He handled all my questions with grace and patience. I had two other well known companies come out as well, there is no comparison to be made. He answered all of my questions, even follow up questions by text and gave a timely estimate for repairs. He’s very friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in his field. Definitely recommend!!!

I have used this company twice, about six years apart, for problems with my home’s foundation. The first time was in 2017, as a result of the drought. The second was in 2023. My home has a finished basement living area and I was experiencing cracks and shifting, affecting both floors of my home. AFS employs knowledgeable and experienced personnel. The initial inspections and diagnoses, the crews who performed the work, and the follow-up care are all performed by expert personnel. I am very happy with this Company, and my results.

Talon came out and took the time to fully educate us on the issues we were seeing rather than just pitching a product/service. He also was so patient in answering all the questions we posed. We recently had AFS encapsulate our crawlspace, installing a drainage system, dehumidifier, wall vapor barrier, and sump pumps—and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Travis initially came out for our yearly inspection related to previous floor stabilization and noticed signs of moisture and potential concerns for mold. He was incredibly thorough, professional, and knowledgeable, taking the time to educate us on the issue and walk us through our options. He even returned in the evening to review everything with my husband, which we truly appreciated. Once we decided to move forward, AFS acted quickly, scheduling installation within just a few days. The entire process was seamless and well-communicated—we always knew when the team would arrive, what had been completed each day, and when they were leaving. The installation crew was top-notch—Riley, Nathon, Alex, Brent, and Conner were all professional, thorough, and respectful throughout the process. Their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right were evident from start to finish. We highly recommend AFS to anyone needing crawlspace solutions or foundation work. Their expertise, efficiency, and customer service are truly outstanding!

Christian Rudd, Benny Esparza, & Christia Parrish were the team of guys who came and took care of my waterproofing project in my basement. Very professional, kind and knowledgeable young team of men who worked efficiently and effectively to get the work done. Shay was my inspector and explained the process well and helped me to understand what was needed. Think twice before using this company. Another encapsulating company came by to do some different work and went under the house and said that encapsulation that I had done was not complete. They said my air vents should’ve been covered. That was never discussed in my initial inspection.

The technician Emmett W, that came to my house for my yearly inspection, was also one that worked on the installation of my encapsulation last year. I was shown the pictures that he took and he explained them all to me. He told me that I may want to consider changing the pumps in my crawl space with no pressure to purchase new ones. What a delightful personality he has! He was very cordial, polite and thorough. Along with the inspection we shared stories, a snack and a hug. You must be very proud to have him as one of your techs. If all your technicians are as well trained and pleasant as he was then you have an amazing team. I definitely look forward to seeing him again in the future. Thank you Emmett. (If there were ten stars, that's what I would give him. )
