I would highly recommend AFS for all of your foundation, crawlspace and basement needs/concerns. My wife and I had our crawlspace inspected after some concerns we noticed and needed a subject matter expert to answer our questions. Spencer Colson (Certified Field Inspector) showed up less than 48-hrs after scheduling. We were presented with a very professional and detailed assessment of our crawlspace (with pictures and yes, they were pictures of our actual crawlspace). He explained the step-by-step process that is utilized by AFS and even educated us on equipment he used to perform the inspection. We were glad during the process that he was not trying to sell us anything, but actually gave us a trustworthy assessment and recommended what needed to transpire from a preventative maintenance standpoint. We are very pleased with the results of his inspection and his above and beyond attitude to address all concerns.

AFS (David, Bobby, and Jesus) did a very good job communicating their arrival and departure times. They took the time to explain the process and what we could expect. They were tasked with installing 13 helical posts. All areas were dug by hand, the removed soil set aside and restored like I would. They kept saying that they treat each home as if it were their own. Job well done.

We had AFS encapsulate our crawl space almost five years ago. It was expensive but we were very pleased initially. Over the years, however, I realized the installers lapped the ground sheets incorrectly directing all the water flow onto the top of the next downhill sheet. This put all the pressure of holding the water on the tape, which did not hold after years of getting wet. Our service technician Ty could see the problem immediately when I told him my concerns. He spent an unbelievable amount of time re-lapping every joint. He did an AMAZING job and I now feel totally confident that my AFS encapsulation will do the job for decades to come. Ty also took the time to explain the control panels of the sump pumps and dehumidifier so I can reset the alarms that occur when it has to go on battery back up, a fairly common occurrence in rural Alabama. Thank you Ty. You are the best.
