We had AFS come out and repair and sister a couple of joist in our house. The entire process what was very pleasant. Mason came out and scanned my home and created a floor plan that day, talk about high-tech! The floor plan was extremely helpful once Mason sat down with me and went over how we could fix and "bullet-proof" the home. With my background in Mechanical Design, I appreciated the collaboration as multiple options were presented and we worked/tweaked the design to fit within my budget. We agreed on a price and date and I was told by Mason that the installation crew would arrive on time and would also show the same level of professionalism as he did. I was pleasantly surprised that he was right! Taylor Fox, David Ennis, and David Smith where the three young men that came to do the work. They were on time, respected my home, and went above and beyond to make sure that they cleaned up after the work was done. The entire crew was very willing to answer any questions I had and explained what they were doing. I cannot recommend them enough! We plan to keep doing work with AFS in the near future! Thank you all for the help!

I had several companies over the last 30 years do work in my crawlspace to correct the problems of excessive moisture and mold which was affecting the air quality in the living area of the house. Also the high humidity levels were causing decay on some of the floor joists and fungal growth on ALL of the floor joists. The treatments that these companies tried were ineffective. I wanted to solve these problems once and for all. I contracted with AFS and they did the following did the following work: 1. Installed underground drainage around the inside perimeter of the foundation wall. 2. Removed the fiberglass insulation between the floor joists and applied a fungicide to eliminate the mold and mildew. 3. Sistered the rotting floor joists with new wood. 4. Installed a new steel beam underneath the rotting floor joists even though they had just been sistered. This guarantees that the floor above will never sag. 5. Installed four new piers on the inside of the lowest point of the crawl space to prevent any of the foundation from sinking. 6. Installed a sump pump that drained to the outside and away from the foundation. 7. Installed a commercial grade dehumidifier. 8. Those are the major items but there may be a few other things that I am not remembering. The crew did an excellent job and was in an out in just three workdays. I am certainly well pleased with thew work which they did and would like to single out Alex the crew leader and Jacob who was one of the workers. There were sometimes four workers on the crew and those men also did an excellent job. The new crawl space is truly a thing of beauty. This was an expensive job and the question that you would ask is, "Was it worth it?" The answer to that question can't honestly be answered for many years. But judging from both the high quality of the products used and the high quality craftsmanship of the workers, I feel confident that final answer will be, "Yes, it was worth it!"

Had to have a side porch stabilized. Paris,Bug,Boyd,Edgar,Josh,Benny were the crew that performed the work. The whole crew was very professional and courteous. Their work was very thorough and excellent. The contracted job was completed in the timeframe quoted and a.complete cleanup of the work area was done,my wife and I are very pleased with the work performed. This was the third time we have contracted jobs with AFS and will definitely call them if we need the type work they perform.

Super service… able to reschedule concrete lifting job before originally scheduled. Parris Houghins and Benjamin Esparza kept us in the loop from the time to set out until they arrived. Parris explained the entire job, the approximate time it would take, and asked if I had any questions. I told him my concerns and he understood my requirements. He and Benjamin started and when finished explained what was done, how it was done, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. They even cleaned the work area and left the area spic and span! Two excellent workers are shining stars at AFS.
