I can’t say enough good things about Joshua P Preston, Y and Brandon E they were very likable and hard-working and did the most professional job I’ve ever thought I would experience by hiring AFS. I am 100% plus completely satisfied with their work and their foundation in crawlspace repairs to my home. I was always a huge fan and I know AFS is the best and I used to be in business for myself for 26 years and I will forever recommend you guys as long as I live and Kevin Crowe my salesman has a good guys I ever met and once you meet Kevin you ain’t gonna go on work nowhere else with anybody else because he’s the real deal.

First and foremost this company was over 10k cheaper than one of their competitors! Secondly they was in touch with us a lot before the job was done so with that said their communication is 100%! They made two trips the day of the estimate cause they needed in the house to check a couple things. Once someone could be there they drove an hour at the end of their work day to look at what the wanted to check. Pairs Houchins and Kyle Juraszek told me what they was doing and why they was doing throughout the whole process. I’ve never had a company explain things like they did. These two young men went above and beyond. When they left you could even tell they had been there! THANKS for the professional work and even more professional attention to detail! You guys rock! If you’re reading this review just know you can’t go wrong with these folks!

My husband and I were both VERY HAPPY with our experience with AFS Chattanooga. They were quick to respond to our request for a bid. Eric came out to give us a bid after inspecting our crawlspace. He made his numbers competitive with some other bids. We have experience with AFS at a rental home and have been very happy with the service provided annually, so were happy to work with them on our home. Every rep I spoke to on the phone was polite and professional. AND HERE'S A CONCEPT!!!! THEY ACTUALLY DO WHAT THEY PROMISE THEY WILL DO. They confirmed job date and time. They called when on their way. They arrived ON TIME, something most contractors seem to have an issue with. AND, MAN THEY WORK HARD. The install crew of Caleb Britton, Aiden Langford and Spirit Ettesvold busted their butts. No goofing off or milking the day. WOW, they set a pace. My crawlspace looks great. I even had a rep who checked in with me as they were nearing completion to be sure we were happy with everything. Oh yeah. I'm happy. I highly recommend AFS – Chattanooga for encapsulation work. They did a great job from start to finish.

I had several companies over the last 30 years do work in my crawlspace to correct the problems of excessive moisture and mold which was affecting the air quality in the living area of the house. Also the high humidity levels were causing decay on some of the floor joists and fungal growth on ALL of the floor joists. The treatments that these companies tried were ineffective. I wanted to solve these problems once and for all. I contracted with AFS and they did the following did the following work: 1. Installed underground drainage around the inside perimeter of the foundation wall. 2. Removed the fiberglass insulation between the floor joists and applied a fungicide to eliminate the mold and mildew. 3. Sistered the rotting floor joists with new wood. 4. Installed a new steel beam underneath the rotting floor joists even though they had just been sistered. This guarantees that the floor above will never sag. 5. Installed four new piers on the inside of the lowest point of the crawl space to prevent any of the foundation from sinking. 6. Installed a sump pump that drained to the outside and away from the foundation. 7. Installed a commercial grade dehumidifier. 8. Those are the major items but there may be a few other things that I am not remembering. The crew did an excellent job and was in an out in just three workdays. I am certainly well pleased with thew work which they did and would like to single out Alex the crew leader and Jacob who was one of the workers. There were sometimes four workers on the crew and those men also did an excellent job. The new crawl space is truly a thing of beauty. This was an expensive job and the question that you would ask is, "Was it worth it?" The answer to that question can't honestly be answered for many years. But judging from both the high quality of the products used and the high quality craftsmanship of the workers, I feel confident that final answer will be, "Yes, it was worth it!"

I had Mason come out to inspect the foundation on a house I’m in the process of buying, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, Mason was extremely professional and took the time to clearly explain the entire inspection process and exactly what he was looking for. He performed a thorough assessment, including detailed measurements of a basement wall that had horizontal cracking, and his measurements clearly showed what the wall was doing structurally. What I really appreciated was that Mason was not pushy at all and didn’t try to scare me into an expensive or unnecessary repair. He laid everything out honestly, explained the findings in a way that was easy to understand, and provided a clear solution. The recommended fix was also far more affordable than I was expecting, which was a huge relief. If you’re looking for a foundation inspector who is knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward, I highly recommend Mason. He made a stressful situation much easier to navigate.

Hired AFS to do concrete floor injection leveling. Parris Houchins and Bug Boyd did a fantastic job of drilling and injecting the material to stabilize part of my pool deck and patio slab. It was done with professionalism and expertise. I was very happy with the result and well worth the time and money spent for an important job.
