Rhett Stephens, Certified Field Inspector, from AFS visited a couple days ago. He was very thorough in his examination of my basement and crawl space, even carefully inspecting the outside of the home, grading, gutters and downspouts. He explained all of his findings and concerns EXTREMELY well. Yes, I capitalized extremely because I ask a lot of questions to ensure I fully understand. He handled all my questions with grace and patience. I had two other well known companies come out as well, there is no comparison to be made. He answered all of my questions, even follow up questions by text and gave a timely estimate for repairs. He’s very friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in his field. Definitely recommend!!!

We have used AFS several times. To lift our car port concrete pad, resolve a floor joist structural issue and most recently to encapsulate our crawlspace (with dehumidifier). The service has always been top-notch. Kudos to Josh who recently came out to perform our annual maintenance checkup – patient, thorough and professional 10 star support. We renewed our annual maintenance contract on the spot. Hopefully you will never need foundation work but if you do, I highly recommend you check with AFS first!

Micah and Mikey were very professional during the installation our the Intellibrace Steel Beams. They were prompt with their arrival and completion of services. They were both friendly to my dogs and daughter who were present. They cleaned up the area after they left and answered any questions I had about the process. 5 star service! I recently had four support piers installed under a corner of my house. This is my second experience with the work of AFS, and I’m glad to say that both times the staff and work of AFS were top-notch. The initial meeting and assessment with Greg was thorough and clear about the need for work. Greg took time to explain the work to be done and the estimate. He was friendly, professional – an excellent representative for AFS. The crew of Uber, Fernando and Marco, who completed the foundation work were equally professional. Each was friendly, personable and conscientious about their work. They ensured that I was able to see the work at different stages, and the they explained it in detail and made sure my questions were answered. This trio worked steadily and without complaint in the sun on a 90+ degree day to complete the work. When complete, they he area was made neat and ready for grass seeding, which I appreciated a lot. Clearly, I can highly recommend AFS and their staff for crawlspace and foundation work. Both times I needed them, they came through with flying colors. Thank you AFS.

I live in far Eastern Tennessee. Almost in North Carolina, and trying to get any home Repair is extremely difficult, so it was a blessing when the AFS inspector showed app was very timely, polite and very good at communicating …he gave me exactly what I needed to know about my home. It is over 100 years old and I could find no one over the past 2 and a 1/2 years who might look at the foundation and do the repairs. Caleb Loy was courteous, efficient and very well spoken. He did an excellent job of explaining the situation of my foundation, using actual pictures for real time accuracy so I could grasp the seriousness of the disrepair and neglect from previous owners, and then gave an exemplary presentation of how my home could be saved, and last for future generations. If you are near Butler, Johnson City, Kingsport to Knoxville, ask for Caleb Loy.
