We had requested a quote for basement water proofing and when we did the quote included new gutters which was a total surprise due to the low cost. Jeff Stewart and Christian Rudd did an excellent job and are two very hardworking individuals. They stayed well past dark to complete as much work as possible. They walked the house with my husband and explained what would be best for our drainage and worked hard with only one break all day! The next day when they returned they took time to complete the job and cleaned everything up and we couldn’t tell they had been here. Their product is very high quality and improved the appearance of our home. I highly recommend AFS and crew for any gutter needs!

Big projects are stressful for homeowners. When problems arise, it’s hard to know who to trust, to do the job right. The crew that AFS sent to our home was professional, courteous, and explained each and every step they took to correct a very serious problem. They were very communicative and kept us informed as to their arrival. They left our property in excellent shape, with backfilling and grading of the job site. My wife and I were most impressed with their attention to detail, and willingness to make us part of the job. I have no hesitation in recommending their company. Well done

I recommend this company 1000%! Mason that originally came out and did my quote was amazing! He took his time and explained everything to me so that I understood it and took really good photos to back up what he was telling me. My installation was a breeze! I can’t say enough good things about Steven, Logan, and Dantez! They were so professional and courteous. The whole process took 3 days and at the end of each day they would come and tell me exactly what was done, answer any questions I had, and show me pictures of the job they had done under my home. When they had to come in my home they took off their shoes and each day they left my yard looking like no one had ever been there. They are such hard workers!! On the last day, they had me come back and look at the work they had done and answer any questions I had. The money you spend is well worth the service and peace of mind they give you. Thank you AFS for having such amazing employees who do amazing work!

AFS has been very courteous and professional throughout the years. They leveled our floors a few years back, and today our annual maintenance service took place. Brian P. arrived on time and answered every question we threw his way. He even made a few adjustments for us and found a worrisome area in our crawlspace that will require a future repair. We appreciate the help today, Brian. 5 out of 5 stars!

I recently had Jarrod Kingrey from Alabama Foundation Specialists (AFS) out for a service call, and I can’t say enough good things about him and the experience! Jarrod arrived right on time, was extremely professional, polite, and clearly takes pride in his work. He thoroughly inspected our foundation/crawl space, explained everything in plain language walking us through exactly what was going on and gave recommendations for what would need to be done in the future. His knowledge and attention to detail were impressive—he spotted things we never would have noticed ourselves and gave us honest, practical advice. What really stood out was how courteous and respectful he was the entire time. He cleaned up after himself, protected our property, and even took the extra time to answer all our questions patiently. In a world where service calls can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Jarrod made us feel like our home truly mattered to him. If you’re in the Birmingham area and need foundation repair, waterproofing, or routine service, ask for Jarrod Kingrey—you won’t be disappointed. He’s a credit to AFS and the kind of technician every company hopes to have on their team. Highly recommend—thank you, Jarrod, for the outstanding service!

I cannot say enough good things! I am so impressed with this company and the guys that do the work (Archie, Brad, Adam, Nate and the crew that did the install of interior waterproofing system as well as our production manager and the initial meeting with Kristofer)… The professionalism, kindness, care to details, communication, they were an overall great group of people to work with! I could not be more happy with the work that was completed… It was so neatly done and I just really appreciated their honesty throughout the process with everything, always available to answer any and all questions. We selected this company based on reviews and were worried if we were going to make the right choice for such a big, complicated project and from start to finish I’m blown away! I would recommend this company to anybody- it wasn’t easy and they showed up on time, every time, and with smiles on their faces!

Nick Rutland and Ethan Eckler from AFS were fantastic at tackling our driveway problem. They were very polite, courteous, prompt and thorough. They made sure they were very thorough in their communication. They reached out to us at least three times during their time at our house to keep us informed on exactly what they were doing. They made sure we were completely satisfied with the job before they left. We would completely recommend Nick, Ethan, and AFS for their great service!

AFS Nashville just finished a total encapsulation of our crawl space. From the initial assessment, proposal presentation, financing options, to the outstanding installation team…this company is 5 Star!!! Every person we worked with was both professional, experienced, delivered on their promises, and very thorough. In particular, their installation team led by Evan Jensen along with Aldo Gracia and Jorge Martinez were outstanding. They communicated extremely well, were polite, on time, were very considerate of our property, and their encapsulation install looks amazing. In our mind, there is no other choice than AFS in Nashville for your groundworks needs!

Today, Steven came out to meet with me at my house. He was on time concerned about where he would park his car, and when he came into the house, he even took his shoes off at the door. I am very very pleased and impressed by his patience and knowledge, and took so much time sitting with me, explaining everything in detail and going over everything with me in very much detail it’s very comforting to know that you can put full. Trust into Steven. I was so worried and stressed out about my house but I so appreciate him being understanding and really being patient with me. Excellent Excellent service!
