Nick and Josh showed up in my home yesterday to complete the work on my pool deck, leveling and stabilization. Nick explained in detail what they were going to do and how they were going to stabilize the concrete deck. He was very clear, very professional in how he delivered the information. Josh explained to me some of the techniques they would use to truly make this look professional complete and stable. I was thoroughly impressed with these two fellas and the work that they had accomplished. These two guys are a crackerjack team and should be acknowledged for their work and service. Initial Review (will update once the work has been completed). Called AFS and was greeted by Alex on the call. Working with Alex to setup an appointment for estimate was quick. Day of the inspection Justin C. called to inform me he was available to meet a little earlier than planned. Justin was professional throughout tue appointment and provided a thorough analysis on the issue I would like addressed with the foundation of my home before it becomes a real problem. As part of the inspection Justin also inspected the entire foundation of my home including the crawlspace as well as in the living area for his analysis. Justin's thorough inspection as well as explanation of his observations on work needed to resolve any issues was appreciated. I decided to proceed with an agreement with AFS to perform work on the foundation of my home. I will update my review of AFS once the work has been completed.

The real measure of a company is not how they behave when all is well, but how they treat their customers when everything goes pear-shaped; and that's exactly what happened in our case. Sometimes you get a bad crew, a small group of ne'er do wells who simply don't perform. It happens. It happened to us. However once upper management found out what was going on they didn't hesitate to swoop in and make everything right, and that at a substantial cost to themselves. Concrete work is bloody expensive no matter the size of the job and, although we're just one small residential account, we were taken seriously and all repairs were done professionally and at our convenience. I can't praise these people enough for how they chose to behave when the chips were down, and I highly recommend them both for their skill and their commitment.
