AFS was very good to work with. Caleb Loy provided a timely quote along with detailed information, including drawings, about the work to be done which was shoring up underneath the house, the lack of which was causing the floor to sink and walls to crack. The job was scheduled without delay. Crew consisting of Ridley, Lowe and Murphy were courteous and professional. They got the job done in the time stated. They took me under the house to show/explain in detail what had been done. I would recommend AFS for this type work.

Coming to the realization that a house I am wanting to remodel needed extreme measures taken to repair the foundation had me quite worried and on edge until Caleb Loy, a Certified Field Inspector for AFS, helped me to clearly see the need AND the process for repair. A construction friend referred me to AFS, and AFS was quick to set me up with an inspector, Caleb Loy, the next day. Caleb explained the entire inspection and results well, and he followed up with detailed measures for repair. It’s always good to know someone hears me and responds appropriately. I would definitely recommend AFS!

When we decided we needed a structural issue resolved, I did rather extensive research of the prospective companies and decided on AFS. We made a very good decision and would happily recommend their work to anyone. Eli came out and did an extensive inspection. He was very knowledgeable and went over all of our options in a clear manner and answered all of our questions. Eli was a delight to meet and work with. Johnny and his instal crew of Michael & Michael also did a great job. They arrived right on time and ready to go. Johnny went over all of the project details. He answered all our questions. His team worked hard and efficiently. They had a large project done in approximately four hours. They cleaned up as well as possible after a pretty elaborate repair. Johnny and his team took care of all our concerns. Johnny and the Michaels were also great to work with.

First of all this is a very difficult job for the workers any I appreciate the way they handled their business! The crew on my job was Micah, Shawn and Kayden. What an amazing team they have. They are such hard workers and explained every step in the process, They continuously kept me updated. They took the time to answer all my questions without judgement. They have fun while handling a scary job. We did encapsulation and they were positive about the project, I liked them so much that I asked the Pro Desk at Home Depot to add them to the list of preferred providers! So know you to know the final results? The crawl space looks amazing and all those future problems will no longer be an issue! Yes it is an expensive project, but now we have the piece of mind that we avoided future problems and dishing the right way! AFS has my highest recommendation!

Our lousy builder installed a french drain that plugged after 8 years. The AFS crew – Matthew Ridley, Coby Stealey, and Shawn Lowe – installed a sump drain and pump. The crew was on time, polite, hard-working, and informative. As bad as it looked while they were running jackhammers in my basement, the area was neat and tidy when they finished. I hope to never again need AFS Foundation and Waterproofing. But if you need this work done, this company dispatched a quality crew from Knoxville to Piney Flats.

Fred came out on a miserable day without complaint, explained the inspection process and got to work immediately. He then gave a thorough of his findings and already had recommendations ready to go. Work was performed THE NEXT WEEK by Trent, Darian and Tyler. Encapsulated, the crawlspace, added the floor jacks and lifted the house all in half a day. Would absolutely recommend this crew to anyone with housing issues.

We had to repair or replace a 18×20 ft concrete patio at our condo that had a major crack, and I got three companies to give me an estimate- two of them were going to just remove the old patio and re-pour the patio. The AFS estimator showed me exactly what had caused the problem – the ground on one side had sunk due to moisture, and showed me a video of their foam process which lifts the concrete back into place and is ready to use after 15 minutes. The work is guaranteed for 5 years and the warranty is transferable to a new owner. The price quoted was less than half of one of the concrete replacement quotes that I was considering. The two technicians that performed the work were very professional and did the entire repair, including cleanup, in less than an hour. They took great care to ensure that the concrete was completely level and that the crack was filled and covered. I was very pleased with the entire process and will use them again in the future if any other foundation or concrete problems occur.

They have 5 stars because they deserve it. All around great experience with AFS. Keith inspected a potential home and the home we just purchased. Was able to come out quickly in the inspection window which we appreciate. He was really thorough in explaining all issues and recommended fixes. I feel like he was out to save us as much money as possible to fix what was needed. We had our crawl space encapsulated by Jackson, Micah and David. These guys are hard workers that were really quiet that I barely knew that they were there. Which in a work from home environment is appreciated. Pleased with the work, showed me the finished area and explanation from Jackson. I would highly recommend AFS and will use them again no problem.

WOW! It's not often I can say everything went as well or better than I hoped for. From the original call when a real person picked up the phone and set up an appointment for my estimate to the completion of the job I have nothing but good things to say aboutthe experience. Daniel came to our home and explained to us what needed to be done to correct the problem. He called ahead and was on time arriving. He made sure we understood what was involved with making the repair and walked us through the warranty info.The day of the scheduled repair we received a phone call from Josh stating that they were running a little ahead of schedule and asked could they come early. We told him to head our way. Josh and Jeremy both were very professional and we are happy with the work they did and how they cleaned up the area. I am so glad that this is the company we chose to use for this project.
