Hi! This is Mona from Taylorsville and I would like to tell you about my experience with AFS Foundation repair and waterproofing. I would like to say my meeting with Alex Parker-a specialist with AFS-, was a great experience. I thought I might be having some foundation problems with my home. I googled and found AFS. I made a call and spoke with Katrina. She was quite pleasant to speak with, very mannerly and really understanding. She asked a few questions and immediately wanted to set an appointment the very next day. Shortly after I hung up the phone, Alex Parker gave me a call. He was the gentleman that was coming to do my inspection. I really was anxious on how the meeting and inspection would go…afraid I would be talked into something very expensive, mainly because I didn't know if I had issues or not. Needless to say, Alex was very thorough in his inspection. (almost 2 hours)…He came back in the house wanting to show me the pics he had taken and he was very quick to set my fears at rest….nothing majorly wrong. I immediately thanked MY JESUS for answered prayer. I also let him know I had been praying so hard that there would not be an expensive situation that I could not afford. I learned that Alex also led his life pleasing the Lord as well as his customers. I would recommend Alex Parker anytime to someone looking for foundation, concrete repair or waterproofing. A very nice and caring young man.

It all started with the amazing inspector, Katie (highly recommend) who came to my cabin to give me a thorough and accurate quote with an extremely fair price compared to the competition (got quoted almost double for the same job from crawlspace ninja & a few other local companies and they spent only a few minutes in the crawlspace-absolutely terrible). Katie made sure I was taken care of and also assured me they would send there best crew to do the job. And man was she right!! The best crew I have ever worked with was led by Darian & his co-foreman Tanner. They arrived on time and with amazing attitudes while being extremely efficient and knowledgeable while they walked me through there plan of action and then perfectly executed said plan!! On April 14, 2023 Joseph Maynard, Michael Moseley, and Charles Baldwin came out to place piers along the front side of the house. They arrived on time, and explained what was going to happen. The lead person was very professional, checking with my 93 yr old mom about the landscape asking what she wanted saved–and she definitely had specifics for them. They said they would try to abide by her wishes as best they could. They proceeded with the work of placing the piers, 8 to be exact. They also placed the flowers and garden artwork back where my mom wanted. The landscape actually looked better after they completed the pier placement work, and replaced the flowers!! AFS placed piers last year on the other side of the house and all is well with that installation after a year. Our experience with AFS has been without any complaints, and the work has held up. I would recommend them if asked.

I would highly recommend AFS for all of your foundation, crawlspace and basement needs/concerns. My wife and I had our crawlspace inspected after some concerns we noticed and needed a subject matter expert to answer our questions. Spencer Colson (Certified Field Inspector) showed up less than 48-hrs after scheduling. We were presented with a very professional and detailed assessment of our crawlspace (with pictures and yes, they were pictures of our actual crawlspace). He explained the step-by-step process that is utilized by AFS and even educated us on equipment he used to perform the inspection. We were glad during the process that he was not trying to sell us anything, but actually gave us a trustworthy assessment and recommended what needed to transpire from a preventative maintenance standpoint. We are very pleased with the results of his inspection and his above and beyond attitude to address all concerns.
